株式会社TOGS、代表・花渕はケニア・ナイロビにて、アフリカの若者にIT教育を提供するPower Learn Projectさまを訪問いたしました。
今回の訪問は、世界が共通して抱えるIT課題の現場に触れ、「教育格差」や「人材育成の仕組み」について考えることを目的としたリサーチ活動の一環です。
世界では未だに“質の高い教育を誰もが等しく受けられない”という構造的な課題が起きています。
こうした背景から、株式会社TOGSは持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）の一つである「SDGs4：質の高い教育をみんなに」を教育事業の指針に据え、活動しています。誰もが教育機会を得られる社会の実現に向けて、国境を越えた学びと挑戦の場を広げていくことを目指しています。
Power Learn Projectさまでは、プログラミングやITリテラシーといった実践的なスキルを無償で提供し、若者たちのキャリア形成と地域社会の発展を支えています。現地での対話を通じて、私たちは“教育こそが課題解決の起点である”ことを改めて実感しました。
Mr. Hanabuchi, the representative of TOGS Inc., visited Power Learn Project in Nairobi, Kenya, an organization that provides IT education to young people across Africa.
This visit was part of a research initiative aimed at exploring global IT challenges firsthand, with a particular focus on educational disparities and systems for developing human resources.
Around the world, a structural issue remains: not everyone has equal access to quality education.
In light of this, TOGS Inc. has aligned its educational initiatives with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4): Quality Education for All. Guided by this goal, we aim to create opportunities for learning and growth that transcend national borders, and to help build a society where everyone has access to education.
Power Learn Project offers practical skills such as programming and IT literacy free of charge, supporting both the career development of young people and the advancement of local communities. Through direct conversations on site, we were once again reminded that education is the starting point for solving many of the world’s challenges.
